Incheon International Airport (ICN) is South Korea’s primary international gateway and one of the world’s leading aviation hubs. Located on reclaimed land between Yeongjong and Yongyu islands, about 48 km west of central Seoul, the airport is consistently ranked among the best globally for service quality, efficiency, and passenger experience.

Facilities

ICN features two large passenger terminals (Terminal 1 and Terminal 2) and multiple concourses, offering extensive facilities such as duty-free shopping, international and Korean dining options, lounges, free Wi-Fi, cultural experience zones, transit hotels, showers, medical clinics, children’s play areas, and spa services. Terminal 2 primarily serves SkyTeam airlines, while Terminal 1 handles most other international carriers.

Airlines

The airport is a major hub for Korean Air and Asiana Airlines, and is served by more than 80 international airlines, including Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Cathay Pacific, Lufthansa, ANA, JAL, United Airlines, and many others, providing connections across Asia, Europe, the Americas, Oceania, the Middle East, and Africa.

Transportation

Public transportation is excellent. The AREX Airport Railroad connects ICN directly to Seoul Station, with both express and all-stop services. Airport limousine buses serve Seoul and major cities nationwide, while taxis and car-rental services are widely available. A high-speed road network links the airport to the capital region.
